At the very bottom of your toolbar, you'll see the Zoom feature q and a. Please use that tool to submit all of your questions where we can track them and we can respond to each of them. At the end of the webinar, so please wait until the very end, but at the end, there is a QR code. And you can submit your contact information, and one of our wonderful team members will reach out to further discuss what a potential partnership looks like with you. We are thrilled at the prospect of partnering with each of you, and I can't wait to get started. We believe that critical that court reporters form a critical component of the justice system in our great country. Without you, we would not have the great system that we have today, and we can't wait to tell you a little bit more about us. So a couple of comments about FileVine and who we are. FileVine is a company that was founded in twenty fourteen and launched in twenty fifteen. And since that time, we have grown quite consistently. We have over six thousand customers today. Those aren't individual users. Those are actual law firms, actual logos. If you go by users, we have over one hundred thousand users that depend on FileVine to execute their crucial legal work. Our users use FileVine about one hundred times a day. We have about seven hundred employees, half of which are located and come into the office in Salt Lake City, Utah, but we also have offices in Chicago and New York City and around the world. We are a company that is dedicated to making sure that our customers can deliver justice for their clients. We care about this so deeply and in as much we have built a business that is squarely focused on the human professionals that make up our legal system. Of those legal professionals, we count certified stenographers and court reporters as some of the very most important parts of this system. It is now my pleasure to turn the time over to Tyler Dever to now walk through FileVine's regulatory compliance and security. Tyler. Thanks, Eric. As Eric kindly introduced, I am Tyler Dever, FileBind's associate general counsel. I came from I came to FileBind from the law firm of Foley and Lardner. And as a former big law litigator with over ten years of commercial litigation experience, I regularly used and relied on certified court reporters in depositions, hearings, and trials. FileVine implements internal controls and review processes designed to align with the state specific and federal jurisdictional requirements to ensure that FileVine's business practices and the court reporter transcripts meet individual and state specific standards. At FileVine, we do not just solely rely on our internal teams to ensure that we are complying with ethical and legal considerations, but we hired an independent ethicist to issue formal opinions about our products and services, and we retained an outside law firm to conduct a thorough review of civil procedure and court reporting rules for all fifty states and the District of Columbia, and it prepared for us fifty one individualized memos for these respective locales. FileVine also conducts ongoing monitoring for policy and regulation updates to ensure our policies and procedures remain current with existing laws. Next slide, please. As I tried to emphasize with the last slide, preservation and integrity of the record is of the utmost important to FileVine. In addition to the legal and procedural compliance, FileVine's platform is built to meet the highest security standards. We host and store all data on our own secure servers, which regularly undergo system and organization control two or what's called SOC two type audits. This type of audit is an independent assessment of how a technology company manages and protects their customer data. FileVine's secure platform also complies with HIPAA regulations and safeguards, ensuring that transcripts and customer material and information are maintained within these requirements. And as of October first twenty twenty five, FileVine's products and services are low authorized on the FedRAMP marketplace, which is important for our governmental customers and means that FileVine has met the US federal government standardized security requirements for cloud products and services. With that, I will pass it on to Lindsay Stoker. Thank you, Tyler. Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Lindsay Stoker, and I'm FileVine's registered court reporter in charge in California. My CSR number is one four three seven three, and I hold the National Court Reporters Association's registered diplomat reporter, registered merit reporter, certified real time reporter, and certified real time captioner, certifications, and these are credentials that place me in the top point five percent of court reporters nationally. And over the past two decades, I've had the privilege of building a career in court reporting and captioning that's taken me across many facets of our profession, from captioning for every major technology vendor at their conferences, including one where my real time was viewed by over five million participants, to covering secret federal grand jury proceedings, to covering some of the high most high profile civil cases in recent history and even the Oscars. I've been fortunate to work in some incredible environments that showcase the skill and value of what we do. And I've also spent many years involved in service to the profession, volunteering on a number of NCRA committees, including being appointed to the strong committee, the skills test committee, and the certified real time captioning committee, which I have the honor of chairing. I've spoken countless times at state and national conventions, sat on panels, taught workshops, and written numerous articles on excellence and ethics in court reporting and captioning. So I just want to be so clear that I have the last twenty years of my career and my life defending and uplifting reporter excellence and the integrity of the record itself as well as defending one central truth, which is that the record's integrity is sacred, and I was selected to hire and carry on that work at FileVine. So I understand that some might ask, why would someone so invested in steno be working with FileVine? And that's a fair question. And the answer is because I know the value of what we do, and I've joined a great team here that sees that value as well. And I'm here to be part of something that respects reporters and the record itself. And, again, I'm not doing that alone. So as mentioned, I'm working alongside other seasoned professionals, namely Dora Enriquez, whom you will meet momentarily, who is an official for many years, who is just as committed to protecting the integrity of the record as well as shaping how technologies are used. So when I was first contacted by the FileVine team, I didn't find people looking to disrupt the market and the purse and the profession for disruption's sake. Throughout the discussion process, I had several conversations with thoughtful individuals asking the right questions, centering court reporters in ethical and responsible integration from the start, and that clarity was a turning point for me. At FileVine, we recognize that court reporters are the quiet center of gravity in every deposition. A skilled stenographer can literally change the trajectory of a case by capturing key elements. Attorneys rely on certified court reporters as their insurance policy for the record, and depositions by FileVine was built from this reality to support attorneys and reporters and the human expertise that makes up the record. So I'm so excited for what you will hear from Dora next about how we're placing reporters front and center in terms of respect for the record, leading market compensation, and faster payment turnaround times. This approach to investing in court reporters is the most viable path to keeping our industry strong. With that, on to you, Dora. Thank you, Lindsey. Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Dora Enriquez, California CSR number one two two one zero, and I am proud to bring twenty six years of experience to the conversation by having worked as a deposition reporter and official for LA Superior Court. I have personally seen how much our profession has changed and how vital it is to have the right tools to keep up with that change. I remember my days at South Coast College manually typing up my tests my speed tests. And during my internship, I had the privilege of shadowing seasoned court reporters who shared stories of typing transcripts with carbon paper to make copies. Our court reporting evolution over time has been extraordinary from carbon paper to now having our advanced CAT software along with welcoming voice writers and working with modern technology that enable us to have remote depositions. So let's get into the heart of the conversation. Why should Texas CSRs work with FileVine? Three reasons. First, support. FileVine provides a rapid response operations team that's always ready to help and resolve any issues quickly, either before the deposition, during the deposition, and after the deposition. Our team is ready to handle any issue that may arise. Second, collaboration. Lindsey and I, as the two court reporters in charge, bring nearly fifty years of combined CSR experience to the table. We put ourselves in your shoes because we've been there, and we are confident in working with FileVine, and we believe you should too. Third, compensation. Speaking to all the court reporters joining us today, Lindsay and I know the struggles of pushing through college, passing the CSR exam, and investing in thousands of dollars in equipment. In Texas, being a CSR isn't just a title. It's the gold standard. We believe your compensation should reflect your expertise, and that's exactly where FileVine comes in. FileVine ensures you are paid what your credentials are worth. On the next slide, I will talk about two points that are really important to you, the rate sheet and our quick payment turnaround time. So FileVine is proud to introduce our Texas proposed rate sheet. We made this rate sheet in collaboration with other Texas CSRs to ensure it's competitive with market rates and appealing to you. What you see on the screen right now is the top section of the rate sheet. At the end of the webinar, you'll see a QR code, and you can scan it, download the entire rate sheet, and sign up to begin the onboarding process. You will also have the opportunity to submit your own rate sheet. On the next slide, I'm gonna delve into what sets FileVine apart from the big box agencies. So let's talk about the advantages of FileVine. Rates. Our model allows us to pay you more than the big box agencies. FileVine makes little to no margin on transcripts and copy order, primarily making our margin off of our legal case management platform. Payment. When accepting our proposed rates, we pay court reporters within three to five business days of transcript delivery and invoicing. Bonus. Pays a law firm referral bonus to CSRs. Customer base. FileVine has a network of over six thousand law firms nationwide and over five hundred in Texas growing every day. Copies. Parties can order copies directly through you. So, again, to quickly summarize, FileVine offers competitive rates, three to five business days quick payment turnaround time, and a reliable partnership that grows with your court reporting career. I'm now gonna pass it back to Eric. Thank you, Dora, Lindsay, and Tyler. Great insights. Hopefully, you can feel our excitement in working with you. We're very excited about this opportunity, and we think it is such a great mutually beneficial way that we can, help each others first, help each other's clients, succeed and be successful, but but also help each other's businesses making sure that we're delivering the best and the highest quality. So, again, we are eager to answer all of your questions. I know they're out there. So if you go down to your toolbox, and submit any of your questions, we will take the time to make sure that we answer those. Also, if we want to go to the slide with the QR code, scan this QR code, enter your information. That that will just simply lead to an additional phone call, but we will discuss with you the opportunity. If you have additional questions then, feel free to ask us those, but that will lead to an additional phone call where we can discuss with you what this partnership looks like with you. Okay. Now is the time that we'll open it up to q and a. So if you have those questions, please submit those At any time, you can see the email address down below. Feel free to submit any additional questions, or if you have comments about, the partnership, what it looks like, if you want more detail, again, scan the QR code or you can go ahead and email us at court reporters at filevine dot com, which you see on your screen. Let's go ahead and, we it looks like we have a couple of questions to to kick things off, and I will turn the time over to our team to answer these, whoever feels best equipped to answer them. But let's start with this one, which I know is an important one. You may be wondering, how do I get to work? What does the schedule look like? So let's go ahead and turn the time over to our team to answer that. How do you schedule reporters? Who do speak to that. Lindsay, do wanna take that? Go ahead, Lindsay. Yeah. I can speak to that. So we operate just like any other reporting agency. We have schedulers, and some are with us in the audience today that will reach out to you. We use the same, software for TurnIn that many reporters may already be familiar with, ReporterBase nine. And so that just, like, helps to streamline the process. If I don't know if there's any other operational input that Dora has. You can chime in. But we really do just we operate like any other reporting agency. And once we get the request from the attorney, we reach out to people that we have, contracted with us. Again, use the QR code to get on our list, and, we start finding those reporters. Yeah. Just to chime in, just to add. So at the reporter base nine, you'll be able to log in, see all your upcoming depositions, your due transcripts, and the links to all the jobs. And it's just really easy to get ahold of us and go through the entire process through r b nine. Thank you. Always oh, and sorry. And another thing, you're always welcome to email us too at court reporters at filevine dot com if you have some availability. You know, it's I'm I'm looking to pick up some work next week. We're we're always appreciative, when you reach out. Yeah. So at the end of the day, sounds like we I mean, obviously, we just wanna make it easy to work with us and easy to work with you. And so, yeah, that's that's, those are great responses. Thank you. Let's go ahead and ask another question. So, I represent a small independent local firm. Can my firm work with FileVine? Who would like to take that one? Sure. I'll take it. Yes. So we absolutely partner with independent agencies, and the best way to get that started is to email us at court reporters at file find dot com. And then what we'll do is we'll set up a meeting just to go over things that you'd be happy to answer any questions for you, and we'll start that process going. Yep. So I'll echo what Dora just mentioned. Absolutely. We want to work with you. That's the whole point of this webinar. So please submit your contact information, scan the QR code, and, we would absolutely love to, build a partnership with you. Okay. I think this one is a great one for Lindsey. Lindsey, this one's a good one. Where does FileVine see the industry in five years, and what role will CSRs have? Sure. I can handle that. So as I mentioned, we at FileVine, we I stated in my portion that we see CSRs as the quiet center of gravity and how their role is so essential. And in five years, we see stenographers and voice writers as continuing to be absolutely essential to this legal and to the discovery process, and particularly in complex and high stakes litigation matters, which is what I spent much of my career covering. Technology, we can't avoid it. And as Dora mentioned, everything from carbon paper to where we are now, you can't avoid technology. That will continue to evolve, but our goal and our process is to structure and support litigator workflows and making their jobs easier, streamlining that, but it's never to replace the professional judgment of the reporter, which you can't replace. Great commentary, Lindsay. And this next question, actually, they they kinda coincide together a little bit, as you look at the five year forecast, what that looks like. Another question here is specifically about the tools and the development of those tools, that FileVine will conduct, to make sure that we evolve from a tool standpoint. So the question is, how will FileVine continue gathering input from stenographers as FileVine builds new tools? Yeah. So I can take I can speak to that as well. So first off, FileVine hired two full time working reporters, Dora and me. Dora brings her twenty six years and specialty and official ship experience. I brought my twenty years in high stakes deposition and captioning. We we cover all the bases. And check our job board. We are looking to hire more roles as well. And so in that vein, we've hired stenographers, and we also work with, CSR consultants, in the states that we do business with with the goal of engaging with this dental community on processes just to to learn. So from FileVine standpoint, just to, like, collaborate on what kind of tools we use and, to build an infrastructure that makes everybody's work easier and more impactful. So, again, keep looking at the job postings. We'll be hiring more full time stenographers, for your ex expertise soon. Awesome. Thank you, Lindsey. That's really important in such a fast paced market, so thank you for answering that. Let's go ahead and cover, pay again. We did review the rate sheet that Dora went through. We did review the timetables of when you can expect payment on those, but I think it would be a great refresher to hit that again. Dora, how quickly will FileVine pay reporters for the work that they render? Yeah. So it's just really important to remember that if you accept our proposed rate sheet, then our standard turnaround is three to five business days. So if you submit your own rate sheet and we are in agreement, then the payment is made within thirty days. So we just wanna differentiate of the quick payment turnaround. If you accept our proposed rates or if you have your own rates, then it is within thirty days. And I just wanted to follow-up on that because I know sometimes the agencies will not pay you until they are paid, and that is not what we do at FileVine. We pay our clients when their their transcript and invoicing is submitted. And it's interesting that you say the word client, Dora, because we see our reporter, independent contractors as clients too. It's not just the attorneys we work with. We wanna make you happy. We wanna be easy to work with. We wanna offer competitive rates, and these are all of the things that we're doing to you know, for reporter outreach. Awesome. Thanks, Dora. Thanks, Lindsay. I'll go ahead and take this next one. The question is, I'd like to work with FileVine and refer a firm that I work with. How do I get the referral fee? Now this is really, really important because attribution in the paper trail, making sure that we know this opportunity in this firm and this client, this precious client came from you, we would love an email. An email introduction is probably the best way that we can know that this is coming from you as a partner court reporter with FileVine, we wanna make sure that that, that court reporter and that firm is taken care of. So if you simply do an email introduction or at least give our teams a heads up, you can do that with our court reporter email address, is court reporters at filevine dot com. That will notify our teams of this specific firm, this other court reporter. They are coming from you who we already know. That is really, really important. So please just send us an email and we will make sure to take it from there to hand them off to our sales team and we will walk them through the sign up process. So, make sure to send us an email. We love referrals, and we love paying you for those referrals. And, those will be paid out in a similar fashion to what Dora just mentioned, and we'll get that payment out as a as a referral fee to you. So thank you in advance for those referrals and those email referrals to court reporters at filevine dot com. And we also have a question. I had a friend that wanted to come participate and listen to the webinar, but they're they couldn't make it. Will there be a recording? And absolutely, this is being recorded, and the recording and the video will be sent out after. And, you can go ahead and share this webinar, as a recording with whomever you please. Any other questions, please do not forget to submit those. And just another note, we are especially looking for court reporters that can be in person, take our in person jobs in the Houston market. So if you are interested in helping us out with that, again, scan the QR code. You'll be directed to a JotForm where we can collect all of your information. You'll have the opportunity to accept our rates, and we would really love to start working with you. Wonderful. Thank you, Lindsay. Well, to everyone, that will conclude today's webinar. We wrapped up with questions. So really appreciate everyone's time. Presenters, thank you for being on and sharing your comments. And, again, any final questions, please, we'd love to get to those. Scan the QR code or send an email, and we will be happy to answer them after this webinar. But for now, that concludes today's webinar. We look forward to working with each of you. Have a wonderful Tuesday, everyone. Thank you for being on.
