Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our Depositions Team, Transcription Ops team. As the lead of strategic planning and community engagement for our third-party contract transcriptionists, you will be responsible for fostering a vibrant and engaged community on our platform and oversee day-to-day operations. Your primary focus will be on building relationships, managing communications, and driving user engagement. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture and atmosphere of the community, ensuring it remains inclusive, supportive, and conducive to growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee onboarding and engagement for our gig contract transcriptionists, including facilitating training, granting access to systems, and providing necessary resources and guidance.
  • Lead our gig contract transcriptionist recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and integrating new candidates to the team.
  • Manage communications related to transcription, ensuring clear and timely communication regarding expectations, best practices, deadlines, and principles.
  • Analyze trends in client orders to forecast demand and ensure adequate supply and staffing levels to meet operational needs.
  • Develop and nurture the Transcription community by monitoring and promptly responding to concerns and questions, resolving ad-hoc issues, facilitating feedback, and creating additional community-building opportunities.
  • Develop onboarding and community engagement strategy to maintain quality and scalability.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience within a fast-growth, operationally-intensive company.
  • Outstanding communication skills – you’re a polished communicator who enjoys meeting and building relationships with a diverse group of people. You are energized by teaching and mentoring others, cultivating a dynamic learning environment
  • Analytical experience (preferably SQL, Microsoft Excel)
  • Exceptional organizational skills – you excel at managing multiple tasks concurrently and coordinating complex scheduling
  • Adaptability – you thrive in environments of change, adeptly navigating ambiguity and embracing new challenges.
  • Creative problem solver - you are not afraid to change the status quo.
  • Accountable owner - you have the ability to drive projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong interest in the legal / legal-tech industry.
  • Nice to have: Experience working with independent contractors and/or gig workers.
