Filevine has had tags available for a while. But previously, if you had a set of multiple tags and searched your activity feed, you would get all results that matched a particular tag. For example, if we searched for items that were tagged with #client-call AND #medical-records, we would get all records that included client calls and/or medical records.
But now, a search for #client-call AND #medical-records will only include items in the feed that match both criteria. Why did we do this? Because you know your business and tag your work with intention. And for most users, Filevine isn’t just a space to get work done. It’s the knowledge repository through which knowledge is shared, where new team members learn how to work and work faster. So it’s critical that your team’s knowledge moves with your speed and precision.
